So, since I understand nothing about how blogging works IE: how do you find me?, I’ve made an executive decision. I will start all my blogs with ‘You Are Today’s Women of the Bible’ because that is the thought I am convinced is true. I want all those of us who are struggling to understand that we ARE the Esther, Deborah and even Moses or David of today need to realize if they did write an updated ‘Newer Testament’ ten years from now we would be the women and men listed in it. It is a hard concept to swallow but God is using us as He used those listed in the Bible. He has not gone away. It’s us, in our created bodies that leave earth and He is still here after we leave. He didn’t stop needing someone to lead others to himself, or someone to save a whole group of people from annihilation. That’s where you and I come in. From here on, my first paragraph will be ‘nagging’ you to believe in yourself as someone who has influence for the Kingdom of God. After that first paragraph, I will rant on about life, hopefully, in an “Erma Bombeck” type of way. (Remember her? You are showing your age if you do.) If you don’t know her, she was excellent at making ‘life today’ situations meaningful using humor as a way to lecture.
Having to use a password to get anywhere online is such a necessary pain but maddening. It is suggested that you mix up your passwords and not use the same one for each area in case someone manages to get your password and tries to get into your online world. And today it is so much easier for others to invade that protected world. But you need either the memory of Sheldon Cooper (The Big Bang Theory’s big brain person), or a way to carry around the reams of paper needed to write down each password you have for each site. There has to be another way. I am sure that there already is a way which will cost you an arm or a leg or maybe an eyeball along with a few bucks. Just when I get comfortable with my most used websites password, it is suggested that I should update or change to a new password. There is no answer to this issue. But one thing is for sure God never needs a password. There are some words which add to our meaning relationship with Him. Word like, Grace, Mercy, Peace, Love, Forgiveness and Redemption.
Thank you Lord for allowing us to have a relationship with you without a password. In a way, we all pick a password in the way we address you at the beginning of our prayers. Lord, Heavenly Father, Abba, or God among a few. You’re the best!!!
